Columbia born and now Los Angeles based alt pop creator DeadEye has just shared her latest intriguing musical offering. Called "Tired", the song follows the release of her single "Addicted" released last year.
With "Tired", DeadEye pens a track all about those people in a relationship that are exhausted and depleted from a one-sided and toxic situation. The song is meant to be an empowering narrative to encourage others to confront the ones who did them wrong. Lyrics including, "Honey boy / I'm tired of you / Tired of you / Tired of all your types / Why don’t you give me a reason to stay /Cuz I already lost all my patients," show that DeadEye has emotionally left the relationship and she is ready to tell them how she really feels. Musically, "Tired" thrills with dark-lit fuzzy beats, striking synths and DeadEye's sultry vocals. The track is a tidal wave of raw emotion and the production is polished yet retains a raw edge that adds to the track's undeniable charm.
DeadEye was raised in six different countries, carrying her love of music with her everywhere she went. The musician learned piano at a young age and also began to teach herself how to produce and engineer on GarageBand and Logic Pro. Inspired by the likes of Amy Winehouse, Lana Del Rey and The Pretty Reckless, DeadEye follows in the footsteps of her heros by creating her own blend of emotionally driven alternative pop music.
