Amsterdam indie-alt-pop quartet Loupe has released their latest EP, 'Flaws Of A Circle', and is riding a wave of critical acclaim from their UK headline tour, international radio play, and tastemaker support.
Building on their debut, 'Do You Ever Wonder What Comes Next?', the new EP blends their signature indie rock sound with groove and R&B influences. Tracks like "Tested Waters" and the title track explore these new directions, while "Black Beauty Race" delves into vocalist Nina Ouattara's narrative of growing up mixed-race.
Collaborating again with producer Arne van Petegem and mixer Beau Sorenson, 'Flaws Of A Circle' is released via Excelsior and Sinnbus. The EP features intricate guitar riffs, robust bass, tight drums, and Ouattara's compelling vocals.
Loupe describes the EP as reflecting the tension between personal identity and external expectations. "Flaws of a Circle is about insecurities highlighting your worst flaws, making you question yourself. But we all have such faults, and nobody is as perfect as a circle."
With extensive press and radio support, including a Times Square billboard feature, Loupe continues to build their global presence and reputation as a dynamic live act.
