Emerging Montreal-born, Toronto-based queer pop artist Jennarie first made her bones in the Toronto live scene as a seasoned performer and now she brings her talent closer to home with the release of her debut single "Stop (you can let it go)". The mid-tempo Jazz/R&B/funk infused piece sees her teaming up with producer Nick Tateishi who gifts her with the perfect soundscape made up of rich guitar licks, pulsating bass-driven grooves and soulful textures. Here, Jennarie explores the topic of body positivity, self-love and discovery and armed with her commanding vocals and soothing melodic runs, she delivers the message with authority and conviction. Lines like, "If you focus on the bad/Always pointing out flaws/If you’re searching for a reason/Then you might be the cause" provide audiences a clear perspective of her stance and offer profound advice that is much needed in these gloomy times. At the end of it all, "Stop (you can let it go)" is the perfect motivational anthem to charge up those positive vibes. The single also features Ewen Farncombe on Keys, Caleb Klager on Bass, Jon Catanus on Drums while Nick Tateishi plays the lead Guitar.
