St. Louis-born artist/ producer Jordan Baumstark recently released his new self-produced project Bambino sometime last month, and now he is back with the visuals for the song "Paulie Walnuts". The Sopranos'-inspired track is a bravado-filled and stylish piece that showcases Jordan's off-the-cuff raps with a penchant for painting vivid imagery with a touch of wittiness. The production is suave, cinematic and warm and Jordan's laidback flow sounds tailor-made for it. here, he takes listeners deep into his covenant and gives us a glimpse of his world with lines like "So now I'm back up in it/then I'm feeling like I'm Paulie, no questions asked, I'ma get it done, call me/Rolling with the crew when it's feeling like Sopranos/Question everybody find out just how much that man know" while paying homage to the character played by Tony Sirico.
As for the visuals, Jordan keeps it simple using a blend of wide, close shots and performance shots of himself in a red-lit room with several Italian dishes and the finest wine money can buy.
"Paulie Walnuts" is the first video of the new album, Bambino.
