Raised in the quiet flatlands of Norfolk, musician Leo Lore was raised in a multicultural home by an English father and a mother of Yemeni and Romanian heritage. Surrounded by various types of music via his older siblings, Leo absorbed the sounds that framed his childhood and he developed his style with a reference to the classics from yesteryears. His latest release "Saving All My Love For You" is an incredible dub reworking of Whitney Houston's mid-80s classic single of the same name. This new rendition is bolstered by the distinct guitar plucks and off-beat riddim signature that has characterized dub since its inception and the vocals are also sung in the Reggae style with a laidback but commanding tone and rich background vocals to beef it up. The result is a timeless piece that pays homage to its R&B/soul origin while creating something new and refreshing as well.
