Rusty Reid's powerful anthem displays "The United States of Selfishness"

Rusty Reid's latest single "The United States of Selfishness" is a total banger that digs into the chaos in America lately. He's calling out how conservatism seems all about looking out for number one these days, even if it screws over other people and the planet.

The lyrics get real about how there's this rot inside the belly of the world, which I think sums it up pretty well. Reid lays it out how conservative policies everywhere are unleashing havoc and we gotta get humans working together ASAP, especially with the environment on the brink.

This track takes its sweet time building up over these brooding melodies as Reid invites us to soak in the heaviness of the message. By the end the musics blaring as he gives us some tough love – we gotta redeem ourselves from the collective selfishness happening or we're cooked and still, Reid leaves us with a little light at the end of the tunnel.

I gotta say, this song left me with a lot swirling in my head about how messed up things are now but also how we could maybe turn it around. Reid brings the fire even if he's calling out hard truths. Definitely a thoughtful political work of art that doesn't hold back. Kinda cathartic jamming to it actually.
