New Jersey indie rock act Sonic Blume showcases the evolution of their trademark dream pop musicality on latest album All Your Favorite Songs, weaving through an expansive sonic landscape tinged by late 90’s, early 2000’s alternative rock influences.
Written in late 2021, the project gives life to the intensely relatable feelings of anxiety about re-entering the world post pandemic lockdown. Juxtaposing this anxious churn of intimate worries are more minimal yet impactful themes such as exploring the mundanity of life, youthful naivety and not feeling comfortable in your own skin.
Produced by Erik Kase Romero (The Front Bottoms, Lorde, Gaslight Anthem), the album is underscored by experimental and unorthodox styles that make for an exciting listening experience.
Consisting of Max Connery, Danny Murray, Noah Sullivan and James Waltsak, Sonic Blume which formed in 2016 has continued to pursue and polish their shared passion for music, consistently offering up an ethereal musical world for us settle into.
