Billboard-charting, Nashville alt-pop star Young Summer delves into navigating chaos with a hopeful heart on her sophomore self-titled album, a lush and cinematic pop soundscape rooted in moments of warmth, intimacy, and raw vulnerability.

The 12-track collection which showcases Summer in her most raw and vulnerable light, moves from utter honesty and confessional moments to anthems that feel perfect for the spooky season.Opening with dreamy number “Make Waves,” before moving into the echoing beats of atmospheric production “My My,” the album is led by ethereal instrumentals and her wispy yet bold vocal quality.

There is plenty of versatility woven into the hypnotic melodies with offerings like the haunting yet soothing “I Still Like You,” is balanced out by the uber groovy “You Make Dying Fun.”

A project framed by a sense of liberation and reckoning, Young Summer  is a soulful glimpse of Summer’s intricate and ever-evolving artistry.

Speaking of the album, she says,  “I am incredibly proud of myself for being able to approach and discuss topics that, for me, were incredibly hard to explore for the first time. I’m more vulnerable than I've ever been on this album. Being fully visible on the cover art of the record was part of that vulnerability, too. I usually feel like it’s too exposing to be on the album cover, but it was time to do it, because it denotes the level of involvement in the album. I wanted to signal to the people who are listening, and who have been listening since the start of my career, that we are together again and closer than ever.”

The musical moniker of American singer-songwriter Bobbie Allen, Young Summerbroke out with her debut LP in 2013. And now with her first full-length in nearly a decade, she cements her space in the indie world with her dreamy musicality.
