Jenny Kern finds hope in herself in new single “Intoxicate Me”

Jenny Kern is a Canadian-born Brooklyn-based pop singer-songwriter who hit the limelight in 2019 with her debut single "Slow Burn”. This led to a European tour and many more collaborations, especially with producer Andy Seltzer. Her latest release "Intoxicate Me" is a mid-tempo indie-pop tune that talks about finding inner strength in the face of emotional adversity. Written/produced by Rich Tuorto and Jenny Kern herself, the track has a sublime and sombre feel with its rich synth pads, slick guitar plucks and pulsating bass-line-driven grooves all underpinned by Jenny's airy vocal runs. Jenny takes us into the mind of a troubled woman trying to get a hold of herself with lines like "I’m spinning out of control
Got addicted so fast, But I know this can’t really last/ It all comes down to the fact that". Eventually, she finds solace in herself and takes steps to accomplish the impossible.
