Los Angeles based Emily V is an intriguing and inspiring multi-instrumentalist. Known for her explosive performances as a rock n roll violinist, Emily V has been making waves across the US with her interesting and unique takes on important songs.

Her latest single "Sober" is an intense and emotional cover of Tool's hit song. Lush acoustic guitar opens up the track which quickly erupts into a collision of soaring violin and driving rhythms, making for an enticing listen. The song blends elements of rock, pop and even classical for a seductive musical masterpiece. The music video shows Emily V looping guitar and violin, hitting each note perfectly and intentionally. Shots of a person tied up and struggling to get free mirrors the single's theme of being trapped by your own addictions.
