After showing us undeniable chemistry on the song "Born as an Outlaw", the new duo of Lord Willin and singer/songwriter Madeline Hogan known together as Willin & Maddie return to drop their debut single "Is It?". The genre-bending track produced by longtime collaborator John Solinas has elements of Country/Rock/Hip-Hop with a touch of blues/soul underpinned by rich melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Over the rousing guitar riffs, moody strings, and bouncy drums, Maddie delivers the first salvo with her silky and sultry vocals as she shares her pain with the rest of us. This is followed by Lord Willin's gruff melodic hook and an introspective verse that looks into the daily struggles we all face ranging from personal loss to adversity. Overall the message these two bring is, times will be rough and tough but we all have to look within and find the positives to live through it all.
The accompanying visuals have director Tony Bizz behind the lens who helps bring the heartfelt song to life with his cinematic touch.
