Australia-born, US-residing talent Nicholas Hamilton shares a glimpse of his forthcoming EP FATE on “Alone,” led by soothing piano lines and his soulful vocals. A gentle production with a deeply personal touch, the track explores the push and pull of craving independence while also dreading the feeling of alone.
Inspired by his own experience of moving to NYC and getting a taste of independence, before the feeling of wanting to share life with someone creeps up on you, the track is intimate and relatable all at once as it reflects on how being alone doesn’t always hold the same meaning in different stages of our life.
Rooted in a soft but emotive musicality, Hamilton who has already earned a reputation across film, music and social media, proves that his sonic style is constantly evolving skill has only moved in an upwards trajectory since his first single in 2021 – with an even brighter future surely awaiting him if the sensitivity and strength of his latest offering is anything to go by.
