Glasgow, Scotland-based music composer Michael Hamilton drops his first single, "In Spite Of Everything," from the forthcoming album A Language Forever, set to release on 14th April this year via Monotreme Records.
On the first single, "In Spite Of Everything," lifted from the record, Michael said, "In Spite of Everything is one of the sonically darker moments on the record, but it's quite a playful, kind of indulgent track for me." The track "In Spite Of Everything" is a darkly engaging glitch-hop track with a complex blend of emo-guitars and dark electro beats. Yet, the catchy number is confidential and relatable as it catches a condition that resounds with anyone. The single "In Spite Of Everything: encapsulates what one can anticipate from A Language Forever, a collection of electronic, beats-driven tracks inspired by UK Bass and Electronica producers such as Burial, Jamie XX, Asa, and fellow Monotreme labelmate Sorrow. As with each release, the aim was to break new ground while borrowing from and building upon his previous work.
Michael Hamilton's "In Spite Of Everything" is now via Monotreme Records. The album A Language Forever will be released on 14th April.
