UK rapper and songwriter Christopha takes a gander into the past with a hopeful fortitude in his new release titled "Back In Time". The soulful record sees him in retrospective mode as he runs through his life from the moment he lost his innocence. Far from being downtrodden, he uses these teaching moments as tools to get by and move on with life with clarity. Armed with his animated and punchy cadence, Christopha employs a jazz/soul backdrop for his heartfelt and relatable lyrics such as "Many attractions are distractions, I can't live in a circus/Turning around in circles, it's a tight rope I find hope from the rise".
Amongst other lessons and memories, he mainly implores listeners not to wallow in their past mistakes and take steps to make the right changes.
"Back in Time" is the second release from his 26 Miles and Running project, where he will be releasing a song every 2 weeks in 2023, 26 tracks.
