Nashville singer/songwriter Madison Steinbruck captures the bittersweet moment you realise you can’t be with someone in spite of still loving them on “Bad News.”
Taken from upcoming debut LP Australia’s Lonelier, the track brings out the disappointment of knowing your relationship is ill-fated through a soundscape of melancholic beats, cello and electric guitar married by her soulful vocals.
Texas native Madison who has been writing music since the age of five has fed her passion for performance throughout her life. Moving to Australia where Australia’s Lonelier began blossoming, the track strikes a wonderful balance between forced self-reflection and homecoming – something that stretches through the album.
With a blend of genres settling around a heart of honest song writing, Madison weaves loneliness and fulfilment, loss and love and various complex pendulums of emotions together in her poetic artistry.
