As far as up-and-coming pop artists go, JORDY's music is layered with charm. His voice feels effortless and comforting, and his authentic brand of songwriting feels so refreshing. His new song "i get high" perfectly displays his brand of relatable pop.

JORDY's songwriting is raw and real, "I don't want to text, I don't want to talk, I don't want to call you back," he sings before ending with, "I get high." It's simple but so honest. The song builds into a beautiful crescendo with angelic, spacious production that perfectly compliments his delicate vocals. It's the kind of song that feels so sincere.

He says, "I've never considered my relationship with marijuana unhealthy, but I can't help but analyze and wonder if it's a temporary fulfillment of an empty void; I am still in the process of figuring that out." The accompanying video perfectly echoes the vulnerability in the song. JORDY sits alone, listening to records. The muted, hazy colors give it such a dreamy feel.

JORDY has been releasing a slew of singles, including "Dry Spell" and "IDK SH!T" this year, and he's playing special headlining shows in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles to support his new music. He made his debut appearance at Lollapalooza this summer and also hit BottleRock and Washashore Festival. It's clear he's definitely an artist to keep an eye on.
