Minneapolis-based singer and songwriter Wyn Starks revealed a deep story in his single called "Who I Am," a song about a tribute to his late twin brother, which features a catchy hook, rhythmic bangers, and soul classics from his EP "Who I Am." Produced by Josh Bronleewe and Fred Williams, the EP contains a five-song collection that showcases Starks’ songwriting abilities as well as his vocal dexterity. Starks Ep opens with “Circles,” a romantic power ballad that mixes contemporary pop with old-school soul.
Wyn Starks explains, "Who I Am, is that story of me finally blossoming into me. I still have ways to go, but I finally let him out.”
His unmistakable singing abilities have gained him an opportunity to perform his original song “Who I Am,” which led to his appearance on “America’s Got Talent.” After sharing part of his story with the judges and fans, moving Sofia Vergara to tear up and seeing the audience give not one, but two standing ovations, all ending in a unanimous ‘yes’ from the judges, moving him into the semi-finals.
Following the performance, Simon Cowell a judge from "America’s Got Talent" described Starks as “brilliant,” and continues by saying, “This could be a life-changing moment for you. I really hope that.” Starks continued into the semi-finals where he gave his last performance on the show, singing “In The Stars.”
