Doctor Yizzle's shares ambient new track, "wake me up!"

Independent hip-hop producer and rapper Doctor Yizzle has dropped a drowsy, dreamy track to cure your anxiety-induced insomnia.

"wake me up!" continues to craft the ambient hip-hop discography of the California-based, Korean-American rapper. The beat for "wake me up!" is drenched in droning echos, with streams of sound effects that do not intend to punch, but to leave an emotional impact instead. Doctor Yizzle's production infuses anything from acoustic to electronic, an imitation of anxiety's everything-and-nothing all at once impact on one's mind.

In comparison to his previous few releases, "wake me up!" has a more stripped down, almost lo-fi sound.  Noticeably, almost all of Doctor Yizzle's releases this year feature different elements of various genres. From the EDM-infused "i keep calling" to "Guilt" and its pop-punk adrenaline, or  the track "Natural" and its Afro-beat production, it seems like his exploration of genres certainly would not stop at "wake me up!"
