Toronto hip-hop stalwart DIE-REK kicks off 2022 with a brand new video for his song "Wheel Back Come Again" which sees him in high spirits. Bolstered by his own production made up of dreamy and somber textures layered over punchy drum grooves, DIE-REK delivers uplifting and feel-good bars that aim to get us back in focus as the new year rolls by. His demeanor is stoic and his motivational poise is the centerpiece of this affair as he reminds us that "Life is what you make it" so might as well take every opportunity that comes your way.
The visual concept employs a truly 90s aesthetic and shows the DIE-REK in his environment. From crate-digging to, recording and producing in the studio, we see different facets of the rapper as he navigates different aspects of his life. The visual has a nostalgic feel and makes use of well-shot performance scenes and a quick cameo from DIE-REK's son as well.
