Chicago rapper Fastmoney Ant gets back to the basics on latest release, “Crash Out.” Serving crisp bars over a bass-heavy hip-hop beat, the artist describes his experience in the streets of Englewood. Each verse is packed with attitude and energy.
“Crash Out” has the grit of a drill beat with a trap melody. Fastmoney Ant raps with effortless stamina. Each bars crashes into the next. His style is reminiscent of Eazy-E having a boyish inflection in his voice, but possessing the structure of a veteran in the game. He raps, “Came a long way from high-speed chases, front door back door breaks ins.“ The entire track tells a story of the trenches of Chicago through the eyes of the young rapper.
Despite only being nineteen years old, Fastmoney Ant has a story to share. He describes his creative inspiration for the single, “I wanted to find a way to talk about certain times in my life in a way that my audience would feel like.” Having received co-signs from multiple fellow rappers including Gunna, G Herbo, and EST Gee, the rapper is quickly making a name for himself in the industry.
