Maryland-born singer-songwriter Dana McCoy releases her new single, “Garage Sale”—a heartfelt record about letting go of certain feelings regardless of how difficult it can be. Bolstered by her commanding vocals, sultry melodic runs, and vivid songwriting, Dana immerses listeners into the mix with her soul-stirring performance. The track originally started as a Zoom writing session during quarantine. Dana and her previous collaborator/roommate Madeline co-wrote the song while Sabrina Song produced it.
"Garage Sale" is coming off the heels of her previous single “Night After Night”. She is currently working on her debut EP for release this spring.
Dana McCoy's musical journey started early in her childhood as her parents introduced her to the indelible sounds from luminaries such as Prince, Leslie Gore, and even TLC. Naturally, she ventured into the church and school choirs and proceeded to study at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. As she grew older, she has gradually found her voice and lane and hasn't looked back since.
