After first establishing himself in the Irish scene under the moniker Bobby Basil, the young emcee released a debut album titled Isaac Nelson. This turned out to be the prelude to what was to come next. He, in turn, took his album title and made that his artist name. Now, fresh off the rebrand and the success of his debut single "Mood Fades", Isaac Nelson is back with the very vulnerable record "Truth".

Isaac  Nelson is here to show you a side of him we are not used to. "Truth" delivers warm auto-tuned vocals and extremely penetrative melodies. Nelson's full sonic arsenal is on display as his smart wordplay and vivid lyricism shine bright from start to finish. The production is prototypical of the current wavy-trap. 808's laced with kick/snare patterns and sputtering hi-hats lay the foundation for Nelson to give you his honest perspective on relationships. The motifs and themes on offer here are that of vulnerability and moving on from a toxic relationship to become a better person.

As for what's next, Nelson is building a whole new wave in this new chapter of his career. Whether that is a new project, more singles or features or all of the above, we are extremely excited to hear what is next from the promising emcee.
