Emerging singer-songwriter Jack Page opens our 50th edition of The Slice with his sophomore single "Either Way" — a spectacular showcase of soulful vocals and warm textured melodies. The trio of Tally Schwenk, Devon Rea, and Epifania prove that love is very much alive on new single "Wasted Love" while producer Kilamanzego goes the alchemist route by fusing multiple genres together in the uber-dynamic instrumental "Jungle Frequency." Queens, NY resident, Mike Banz  is all about super lyricism and bravado on "Big Cars" but RETROPXSSY goes for a more edgy sound fon her self-empowerment jam titled  "BOO." D.C./SF rapper Rocky G & L.A. producer, NugLife takes us on a nice smooth ride through the hazy vibes of "OG Smoke" as we get a whiff of some posse cut dopeness from TRENCHES, New Saint, Oliver Throne, & Jon Swan on "JENI." Sarah Bertola raises the energy with the energetic soul-funk of her uplifting anthem"Everybody's Hurting" and producer TooBusy teams up with the veteran emcee Billy Danze on the gritty "Married to the Blues." Trinidad James' newest release "Jame$ Woo Woo" pays tribute to the late great James Brown while Slim Mucho shares some bleak stories on the melancholic "YELLOWSTONE MEMOIRS." Solarrio goes to the motherland with "On My Mind" as he recruits Nigerian afro-house queen Niniola for some groovy vibes. Production duo Jad Abstrock and Theo Aabel flip a classic sample for their nostalgia-inducing beat  "Golden Gate" as Yury returns with "Outcast"—a self-produced off-kilter trap banger. Singer Andrew Waines shares his first 2020 release  "Safe With Me"—an R&B/pop jam that captures the dynamics of teenage-love. UK soul duo GeeJay closes this edition with the vintage soul cut  "Devil Called Love" which is actually a modern-day interpolation of Billie Holliday's "That Ole Devil."
