The 48th Annual JUNO Awards is back for another exciting year celebrating Canadian musicians, bands, recording engineers, artists, and industry leaders. The JUNO Awards and a JUNO Week will be hosted in London, Ontario from March 11 through March 17, 2019. Canada's biggest musical award ceremony provides a serious boost to the local economy, quoted at $12 million CAD ($9 million USD).
EARMILK is proud to help cover the Awards this year for the first time ever. We'll be providing a real perspective into the talented Canadian creators making international waves with their music. The JUNO Week entails A JUNO Comedy Show, JUNOfest happening at 15 venues around London, and a JUNO Cup hockey match. Outside the Budweiser Gardens will be the JUNO side stage this weekend with performances from JUNO nominees: The Reklaws, KILLY, Loud Luxury, Jess Moskaluke, 88GLAM,The Washboard Union, Anders, and Ryan Shepherd.
People from all over can stream The JUNO Awards live from the Budweiser Gardens at 8 PM EST on Sunday, March 17, on CBC Radio, CBC Music, the free CBC Gem streaming service in Canada and globally on CBC's Website.
