Next to the river Spree in Berlin's Kreurzberg neighbourhood stands one of the many homes of house and techno in the city, Watergate. With floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic river views and a completely LED-lit ceiling on the top floor of the club, Watergate is an immersive space and has welcomed the likes of Butch, Eats Everything, Solomun, La Fleur, Pan-Pot and Hot Since 82 behind the decks in recent years. Alongside the immersive club experiences are releases on the Watergate label, including the esteemed Watergate mix series. With previous mixes in the series compiled by Kerri Chandler, Soul Clap, Matthias Meyer and Mathias Kaden – Hamburg's Adana Twins are next up to put their unique techno spin on the 25th edition for Watergate.

Using Watergate 25 as a platform to bring the listener on an emotional and thought-provoking techno journey, Adana Twins have pulled together sixteen tracks to build a vivid musical tale. Providing three of their own originals – including the mind-blowing remix of Patrice Bäumel's "Roar" – Adana Twins have littered their contribution with unreleased music from their peers, including Acid Pauli, SBTH, Lehar and Musumeci.
