Peter Kriek, Ariaan Olieroock and Tim Digby-Bell have been making music together since 2014 as Cubicolor.
The ensemble out of Amsterdam has since innovated with their craft, making their own way with music straddling the line between indie and electronica and house. They've been deemed artists to watch, and sounding "more like Radiohead than Radiohead" as they traverse across soundscapes of piano, indie sentiments, beats and bright synths. Sometimes their move is for the melancholy, but other times it's to nature and and uplifting mood.
In 2016, Cubicolor released their album Brainsugar, and since have pushed its singles and a few remixes, remaining relatively quiet. But now in 2018 the guys have returned with the support of their longtime label Anjunadeep to release their first original track in nearly two years. Entitled "Counterpart," it's expansive, emotive of feelings with large range.
