The four man band known as JOCKS unveil their new style of music where indie pop merges with rock. Their latest self titled EP helps usher in this new sound with thick exuberant vibes stemming from the bright , joyous production and pop laden vocal stylings of frontman Barrett. The band craft a 5 track body of work that takes elements from Justin Beiber, the 1975 , Nashville Zoo and then some. There are no fillers or throw away songs on this EP as each song has it's own place showcasing the group's fun filled, lush production and catchy pop hooks. There is something for everyone here from the home coming-esque "Riddle Me This", the love laden "Always True" to the teeny bop influenced "Don't stop the beat"
Better words could not describe the birth, or "rebirth," of the pop/rock band JOCKS. The band have gone through different phases from rag-tag jam, folk to performing bluegrass. JOCKS emerged in the beginning of 2016 with their sights set on losing weight and recording a hot, new sound that captures their cheerful spirits and their debut, self-titled EP serves as a proof.
