Gramatik explores his roots on "Aymo" with the help of Balkan Beats and Talib Kweli

Gramatik, a producer characterized for his funky electronic sound, has returned with his newest single "Aymo" featuring Balkan Bump and Talib Kweli. "Aymo" is a deviation from his funk focus, incorporating a sound that was can be characterized by looking at Balkan Bump's (Will Magid) background; he is an expert trumpet player, and studies ethnomusicology. The result is the added Eastern-European flair to the track, which overlaps with Gramatik's own Slovenian roots. Kweli, who is responsible for the vocal cuts and rap verses, is known for his past work with Mos Def, Just Blaze, and Pharrell. The finished result of their collaboration, "Aymo," will be the third track on Gramatik's upcoming Re:Coil Pt. 1 EP, which will be released in the middle of his European tour on October 29th— the dates are listed below.
