I.Y.F.F.E is one of the most underrated producers in electronic music.
In a subtle nod to his recent foray into melodic music, the Brazilian beatsmith has released "Change of Heart." Arriving on Uprise Music, I.Y.F.F.E does well to eschew his hard-hitting trap sonics in favor of a mellifluous pop sound."Change of Heart" features a beautiful top line from newcomer Bluff, which sounds fantastic on top of the track's rumbling bass lines and also in chopped-up form in its euphoric future bass drop.
Whether you like pop music or not, you have to acknowledge the production quality here. The general public doesn't realize the plight of the music producer; they can't just change genres at the drop out of a hat. To go from producing primarily bass music to churning out melodic tunes isn't an easy task, especially when your fanbase is expecting a certain sound. However, I.Y.F.F.E does it with ease.
