When you think of Future Islands, tasty Mexican food doesn't usually come to mind. However, that may soon change. HomeState, a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles, has named a taco after the synth-pop trio. The taco is a Texas-style, breakfast concoction, which includes a large portion of scrambled eggs, cheddar, potatoes and Soyrizo on a flour tortilla.
The taco retails for $4, which is a pretty good deal in Los Angeles. However, the taco will only be available for the month of August. “It’s so dang delicious and we couldn’t be more excited to finally have a collaboration with one of our favorite bands that we play regularly,” HomeState said in a statement.
