Not too long ago we were covering Australian artist Vanessa Elisha and Los Angeles-based producer xxyyxx collaboration on a cover of Drake's throwback single "Good Ones Go". The pair isn't wasting time putting out their latest cross-promotion work with a new original "Dark & Lonely" out now. Their music can be described as a "future wave of dark R&B" mixed with just the right dose of soul provided by Elisha's smooth vocals. When chatting lyrically about the single she shares, “The song itself can mean a bunch of different things to different people. For me, it’s about being comfortable as an introverted loner, and the judgement that comes from that. It’s about changing moods, changing tides, pushing people away, bringing them back in, being happy in loneliness, being sad in loneliness – the ramblings of a girl trying to figure her shit out really.” The duo once again proves to work well together, go ahead and give it a listen above.
