Producer Mighty Mouse can always be counted on for a hypnotic disco house cut. Lately he's been focused on laying down beats as part of his band Du Tonc (with Matt Van Schie) or turning out remixes for other artists, but this year is going to see more from Mighty Mouse. Already the producer teased our ears and set the mood with a Steely Dan remix, and now he's back lending his spacey groove to LA's Overjoy and their track “Airplane Song.”

With layers of lush, spacious instrumentation, Mighty Mouse takes the LA band’s track and makes it shine beneath that disco ball on the dance floor. Overjoy’s vocals almost have a 90s club house vibe going on here which blissfully complement those nefarious Mighty Mouse synths.
