Heather and Khrysis work incredibly well together on “Dream On.” The track begins with an ephemeral piano melody that would quickly convince the listener the song is literally about dreaming. However, once the chorus comes in, it’s clear that Heather is not the one dreaming, and tackles the topic of being wronged in a beautiful yet dangerous type of way. Similarly, the verses coincide with this approach perfectly. To add extra power to each sentence, Khrysis layers an echo effect, filling up the track with Heather’s soulful voice and presence.
