Side projects can be super exciting especially considering who's in them. What happens when Juno-Award winning singer/songwriter Anjulie (who has written songs for the likes of Lady GaGa, Nicki Minaj, and Zedd) and Miley Cyrus’ trusted producer Oren Yoel collide?
Together, they form new duo PSSY PWR. A side project for two artists deeply ingrained in the world of radio hits, it finds them channeling all of their aggressive energy into a speaker-shaking sound. Their new single “Rodeo” sonically blends pop sensibilities with a punk ethos and lyrically champions female empowerment from its bridge (“pussy power, power to the pussy”) to its absurdly infectious hook (“she make a man scream hallelujah!”).
