Louis Futon came into the spotlight a few years back with remixes of songs such as "Ms. Fat Booty" by Mos Def and "Break It Down" by Logic. His upbeat and bouncy style of hip-hop-influenced bass music has gained him quite a bit of attention, leading the future bass movement into the electronic crossover spotlight as well as a recent release on ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective. Today the self-proclaimed native of The City Of Brotherly Love is back again with a super smooth flip of Dr. Dre's new prodigy, Anderson .Paak. I love the combination of these two artists as they often bring a similar vibe in much of their music. Louis Futon's rework of "XXL Freestyle" does a superb job of holding that vibe Anderson .Paak intended while bringing fresh new production to accompany his vocals and funky guitar riffs. Enjoy.
