I'm going to call it right now; ymtk is the next one to blow up out of the Bay. The East Oakland native recently released a new project titled All The Right Places that is a brilliant introduction for those unfamiliar to his sound.

[soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/playlists/251262968" params="auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true" width="100%" height="450" iframe="true" /]

As soon as you hit play, you are met with an infectious, upbeat jam. This streak of fire is felt throughout the entire project. Off first listen, you'll be left wondering how ymtk was able to pack so many punches in just one project.

Ymtk isn't the only gem on this project. Ekzakt, who handles most of the production, shines as well from start to finish. "Gold Rush" produced by Trackademicks and "Rolling Stoned [remind you]" produced by CyFre & Lewie V are a perfect complement to the soundscape ymtk and Ekzakt have created. All The Right Places boasts features from Too $hort, Marc E. Bassy, Iamsu!, Rexx Life Raj, Choice, and Deion Gill.

All The Right Places is a perfect addition to the list of summer releases. Expect to hear more from ymtk soon!
