The rap world is poppin right now, like really really poppin. We've had dope new releases from Drake, Chance The Rapper & Post Malone just to name a few, and now it's the turn of one of the hottest prospects to give us his effort, step forward Nessly. The Atlanta native has seen his stock rapidly rise over the course of the past year, gaining fans in abundance and earning plays on the massively popular OVO Sound Radio, which has led to him being getting more notice from the people in the know.
Whilst previously fans had just single releases to get their Nessly fix, the young rapper felt it was time to give them a solid release for them to sink their teeth into, and here we have it in the shape of Still Finessin. Sitting at nine tracks deep, Still Finessin is the perfect introduction for newcomers into Nessly's sound, and for those already familiar, there's enough in here to feed your addiction. From start to finish, the whole project is a vibe, with singles like "Giddy Up!" that a lot of fans will be familiar with, sandwiched in-between new joints such as "Look At U" and "Season", the latter of which features another of the rap worlds hot up-and-comers Lil Yachty. The feature list on Still Finessin features the likes of Ro Ransom & SAFE, to name but a couple, but none of the features detract away from Nessly's own shine and star power, as he shows that his flow and delivery sit so well on EVERY production he hops on.
