"Of Course" Cal Rips' and Miles Meraki's new banger is a DMV classic

"Of Course," the latest single from buzzing D.C. rapper Cal Rips, is the type of high-energy, unrelenting, mosh pit-starting banger that gets elbows flying and elderly neighborhood watch captains reaching for their rotary phones.

Of course, you already knew that.

Cal goes grade A HAM-and-cheese-sandwich on this record. His aggro delivery, high-octane hook and entertaining ad libs are a perfect fit for Clayt Da Great's tweeter-rattling production. Fellow DMV comrade Miles Meraki deals some serious damage on this ditty as well, complimenting Cal's scalding bars with a mellow, killing-'em-softly brand of microphone destruction.

"Of Course" isn't attached to any upcoming project, but both Cal and Meraki have some serious fuego on the backburner. In the meantime, check out Cal's "Need Somebody" joint featuring Matt Mcghee, another ill track from his impressive catalogue.
