Some very sad news is breaking across Europe. It's now been confirmed, 34 year old DJ Mehdi passed away last night from a house accident. It seems he suffered fatal injuries after a fall from a room.
First a Hip Hop DJ member of 113, DJ Mehdi then moved from Hip Hop and released some Electro on Pedro Winter records label, ED Banger in 2006. I'm an early fan, and the guy was a very passionate DJ. Saw him a couple of times live and was always impressed.

More recently, he has also been part of "Club 75", a DJ's collectively also including Cassius, Busy P and Xavier de Rosnay (half of Justice) and created along with Riton a old style house duo, Carte Blanche.
