So lately, I have been coming down hard on the mainstream prog house scene. Maybe this is because in the end, I'm jealous that these djs are actually rock stars and some tracks feel as though they are simply a snappy beat with some re-assuring lyrics sown into the key progressions.
BUT – I have a weakness for dance music, always have – and as such I just can't help myself – I do love me some prog from time to time.
Fedde Le Grand is one of those names that I've come to respect in my new re-education in tech house (and sometimes prog) as he's got a bit of a darker edge and rarely tells you much that'll make you feel better. Today I stumbled upon his new track Metrum which comes with a Manual De La Mare remix.
