The Electronic Music Awards announces nominees for inaugural show

The first ever Electronic Music Awards & Foundation will be hitting the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles on April 14th, and will be broadcasted Saturday, April 23rd at 8PM EST on FOX.  Saluting electronic music's leading artists, creative teams and corporate leaders, EMAT will be the first show of its kind focusing deeper into the electronic music industry, beyond the radio hits acknowledged at awards like The Grammys.

Today, the nominees for seven categories have been anounced: Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Radio Show of the Year, Festival of the Year, DJ of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Club of the Year. Chosen by a board of top industry influencers, the list features everyone from Calvin Harris to DJ Harvey.
