Gengahr returns with surprise psych-pop EP entitled 'Tired Eyes'

Leave it to Gengahr to surprise us with a stellar new EP. The quartet hailing from London, UK have dropped the Tired Eyes EP ahead of their forthcoming UK and European tour, which features three new tracks of pure psych-pop goodness.

For some context, all three songs off the EP were originally recorded during sessions for Gengahr's critically acclaimed debut album A Dream Outside, but have only now seen the light of day. "Tired Eyes" in particular, which was once just a live favourite, was fully realized thanks to a collaboration done with producer/mixer Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter, The War On Drugs, Animal Collective). Frontman Felix Bushe admits that the band, as huge admirers of Vernhes, felt as though it was a "real dream come true" to find that Vernhes was a fan of what they've been doing.

The Tired Eyes EP will take form as an addition of the deluxe edition of A Dream Outside, set to be released Wednesday Sept 30.
