David Tort reveals "Bad Habits" [Premiere]

David Tort is no newbie in the dance music scene. Finding success in the late 2000's and early 2010's with big room progressive house hits like "One Look" and the forever bootlegged "Sad Song," he's reemerged over the past year with a new voice, and it's one that's of an obviously seasoned artist.  Continuing to work with artist friends like David Gausa and Abel Ramos, he's worked with labels like Spinnin' Records on his updated acidic big room sound.

But today we're here for a look at something different: Tort's forthcoming release Bad Habits that's due out on July 31st via X, the newer, smaller, deeper and darker division of Size Records. On "Bad Habits," we get a revived sense of his Spanish through the techno-infused Latin beat that is rolling throughout the whole track. The horns, bells and substantial breakdown make "Bad Habits' perfect for Ibiza's peak season, or perhaps in the Carl Cox tent at next year's Ultra Music Festival. With eerie vocals "confessing" their bad habits, the eeriness of "Bad Habits" is trumped by its energy.
