Here we are, another week and another UK artist flying high on our radar. Owen Westlake is his name and hailing from London, with an intent to use his wide-range in musical tastes to funnel into inspiration for melodic, complex dance floor burners. He’s been a favorite of artists like The Magician and Tensnake and remixed tracks for Tiesto and SecondCity before we got our hands on his latest single, “What I’m Gonna Do.” Out earlier this week on New State Music, the single features stripped down chord progression applied to an easygoing bassline and a just as stripped down vintage feeling soul vocal.
