Australia is feeling intimate: there always seems to be a lot of soulful, down to the bones R&B that comes out of the music scene and newest starlet Vanessa Elisha is no exception. Her latest track "Down For This," produced by B. Lewis is a sexy track that reminds us a little of fallen star Aaliyah, maybe shades of "Rock Da Boat," with a more modern industry twist. This girl has got the pipes and the look to match them as she sings her song.
B. Lewis's production chops come out in full force on this one, with some sinister undertones that balance out Elisha's raspy yet on point pipes. The sensual track is but a precursor to her upcoming EP Good Ones out in 2015.
