A recognized pioneer in ranging minimal, deep, tech house and techno sounds, Richie Hawtin has partnered up with Berklee College of Music to give those interested in production and DJing a chance to learn the craft. The workshop series, CNTRL: Individuality & Creativity In Technology-Based Music, will tour across college and urban campuses and give aspiring artists and engineers a thorough understanding of music's intersection with innovation and technology. Setting out to connect those interested in the craft with the artistry's history and roots, Hawtin will be joined by various other artists along the way including Matthew Dear, Matador, Justin James and other various speakers.
