Oliver Koletzki picks up remix duties on Illenoise’s “Nova”

Over the past couple of years, Amsterdam-based Illenoise has made a name for herself as a sought after producer with her distinctive feel for flow and deep, dreamy melodies, and tomorrow she is poised to drop a collaborative EP, Nova, with Berlin based Juli Holz, out February 27th on Stil vor Talent. To help round out the wonderful EP, label head Oliver Koletzki lends his talent to remix the title track “Nova.”

With his remix, Oliver Koletzki deconstructs “Nova” and takes it deeper. He sets the tone with a crisp, galloping percussion and driving beat, and this is the perfect backdrop to overlay the bass-driven synth melody. The track has a nice progression and when the vocals of the original come in for the last third of track it’s fitting. This is a great remix and nicely rounds out the EP.

This is definitely one EP and remix you won’t want to miss. Pick up a copy when it drops tomorrow, February 27th.
