We're all for going into uncharted territory of music here at EARMILK, and for me, nothing screams unknown musical world than Ceiling Demons.
The track and video are both beyond weird, but the North Yorkshire artists have always been one to go with the weird. Experimental, trippy, and with a bizarre flow, the brothers create a song that strangely reminds me of the bizarre antics of ODB, had he been living in England and not the greater New York area. The remix is done by trip hop's Fold, and what results is a strange mesh that sounds like its shouldn't work, but becomes a piece of magnificence.
Check out the video below. This remix is also supported by an organization called CALM, which stands for Campaign Against Living Miserably, a group that focuses on suicide prevention for young males; according to the site, it is the biggest killer of males under the age of 50 in the UK. They've got a bundle package on ebay that will give 100% of their proceeds to the organization.
