Since its inception CONTROL has stuck firmly to its mantra of booking some of dance music’s biggest names, while providing the next generation of rising stars a platform on which to perform and build a reputation. While names like Skrillex, Rusko, Wolfgang Gartner, Zedd, Hardwell and Porter Robinson may now be festival headliners; they all had some of their first big-room shows in LA at CONTROL.  Few clubs, let alone weekly parties, last five years in the cutthroat Hollywood nightclub industry. Five years down the line CONTROL remains an effervescent jewel in the Los Angeles party scene.

CONTROL continues to grow and evolve, constantly searching out the newest and hottest trends bubbling up from dance-music’s underground. Over 400 artists and two hundred and fifty-eight shows later, CONTROL expands it's wings for a new weekly at the coveted Ruby Skye in San Francisco, starting this Thursday with Tommy Trash and Wax Motif, while continuing the keep their flagship at Avalon Hollywood on Friday's. This sees the first time the burgeoning genre-defying brand hosting a night in a club, other than the historic Avalon in Hollywood.

“We’ve always been really protective over what we did with the brand, and after 5 years we felt it was time to finally make a move. Expansion to SF was the next logical step to a venue that will allow us to put on top quality shows to compliment our Friday nights at Avalon in Hollywood” – Ryan Jaso

CONTROL remains dedicated to exposing people to new music and educating audiences via the airwaves every Saturday with their own show on iHeartRadio’s dance music channel Evolution. Hosted weekly by Control founder Ryan Jaso, Sam Hiller and Chris White, Control Radio features sets from some of the most notable headliners to grace Control’s decks. Fans from all over America can now tune in online (iheartevolution.com) to catch exclusive live sets and mixes from CONTROL’s headliners Saturday at 5pm PST/8pm EST.  The show can also be listened to via the free iHeartRadio app on smart phones and tablets.
