White Royal, a three-piece band from Yorkshire, England present a soothing, dream-like sound with their latest song "Notice". Formed late last year, they have since signed with Color Station and are currently working on their debut LP. With two songs other than "Notice" circulating, the young band have been honing in on their niche, showing a great sense of progression through each release.
Even though "Notice" hugs an even plane, it finds the three members of White Royal taking advantage of their instrumentation to form a cohesive and catchy ride-along. Venturing experimental electronic elements set the underlying tone behind "Notice", where a straight-forward drum beat keeps a steady pace while sustained vocals give the song its hook and overall color. As a whole, "Notice" gives listeners a strong introduction to the band's laid-back style, pushing us to look forward to their upcoming debut LP.
